Norm Bourgois passed away on Saturday, Feb.6, 2010. Norm was 94 years old and lived a full and colorful life. His cabin was a favorite destination for Stokely skiers.

The Thunder Bay Trail Association has great grooming equipment sitting unused. We could have Black Mountain looking like the Noque course if we just could get permission to groom.

The five members of the U.S. Olympic Nordic Combined Ski Team were on hand Thursday to help break ground on a new project at Soldier Hollow, three new multi purpose buildings for the Olympic venue.

The DNR agreed to groom Muncie if we could raise the funds needed to cover their equipment & labor costs, which is $175/groom for 5 hours. So far, $690 has been donated towards the project
