Since Bob is going to host the Awards Ceremony-Banquet-Party at XCHQ, some of us thought it would be a great idea to have a Mi.Cup Bike Tour around Higgins Lake. It would be great to bike with skiers from all the Mi.Cup Teams!
We are planning to start the ride at 10:00am. from the XCHQ parking lot. Maps will be provided, time to complete the loop approximately an hour and a half at 15 mph pace. Bicyclists of all abilities are welcome, road, mountain, tandem or whatever.
Those who don't wish to bike can use the XCHQ Trails to run, walk, hike or whatever. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with us.
After the Bike Tour, Bob is going to host a pulled pork meal at no charge!

CANCELED, but the awards and lunch at noon are still on...
A Michigan Cup Relay Race involving 3 skiers per team. The first leg is classic and the next 2 legs are freestyle. Each leg is
approximately 8 km per leg.
The final Michigan Cup Race of the season with a huge party at the end - not to be missed!
Entry Fee: $20 per racer. All entrees score Team Points. If you do not have a team we will try to match you up. Includes
Long Sleeve 2010 Michigan Cup T-Shirts for each racer, refreshments
(some teams bring special refreshments), Giant Subs, Grilled Hot Dogs
and fresh baked Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Raisin cookies for dessert!
Registration starts at 9:00am; Race beings at 10:30am.
56 Teams participated last year! This is a great Spectator Event!!

Bob Frye at the Cross Country Ski Headquarters will host a party on Saturday, March 19 (Awards Banquet) at 12 PM. XCSHQ will provide "pulled pork"; please bring a dish to pass. Libations are welcome as well.
Even though rain is predicted, Hanson Hills Mountain Bike Trails are open and both Hanson Hills and Bob's running trails are open if anyone wants a morning workout.
We have three Cups to present, two Overall Individual Winners Cups, Age Group Medals and Michigan Cup pins. Those who don't show or have them picked up can expect them in the mail.
