Another Cold Night at the
Tuesday Night Sprints, Race #4

Despite the very windy conditions and zero wind chill Tuesday
night, 36 XC skiers participated in the sprints at Timber Ridge, with Milan Baic barely beating
Boyne City's Brad Winkler by 4 seconds in the 4.4 km freestyle race, 11:20 to 11:24. Steve Kuhl
came in second in 11:34, and Bill Brundage third for adult racers in 11:46. TC West's Chris
Scott was second for the high school team in 11:44, followed by 2 TC Central members, Jon Ault
and Bill Bradley, 12:32 and 12:52.
Glen Lake's Cassidy Edwards won the high school girl's race in
12:00, followed by Central's Coulter sisters, Julia in 12:22 and Anna in 12:39. This was the
final speed workout prior to the Vasa races for these 28 high school team members from TC and
St. Francis.
