Pre-White Pine Warm Up at the
Tuesday Night Sprints, Race #3

Cam Ross, Traverse City Central, edged out Williamsburg's Milan
Baic by 2 seconds at the XC ski sprints Tuesday night at Hickory Hills, 10:59 to 11:01, on the
4km classic course. Grawn's Steve Kuhl, came in third in 11:25, with Bill Brundage close behind
in 11:31. Chris Scott, TC West, lead Jon Ault, TC Central, by 3 seconds, 12:23 to 12:26.
In the girls' race, Glen Lake's Cassidy Edwards proved her
classic skills again by winning the sprints by almost a minute, 12:00 to 12:57 for Central's
Julia Coulter. Laura Meeker, TC Christian, came in third in 13:57. Thirty-two skiers came back
from a busy race weekend to participate in the sprints, hoping to hone up their speed for this
coming weekend's White Pine ski race.
