Why Join "The Team"? Find the snow! We know the secret spots that hold snow in southeast Michigan. Ski more! You'll ski more if you're around other skiers. Ski faster! We have some top skiers who are more than happy to share their expertise on technique, conditioning, and waxing. Travel! Many members car pool to races, make day trips to better snow, share hotel expenses, or go on extended trips. Get in ski shape! Team NordicSkiRacer gathered at Island Lake Rec Area for a team mountain bike ride and picnic.
With Garland Resort dropping out of the Michigan Cup Series, the Michigan Cup Committee acted on requests from numerous race directors to shift the race schedule around.
It is great to have such generous sponsors and so many people supporting (Church World Service) North East Lenawee CROP Run. This event will take place on June 19, 2010 in Macon, MI. 10K (6.2mile) run begins at 9:15 am and the 5K (3.1 mile) run at 10:00am
Seven area people were named “Volunteer of the Year” for the Huron-Clinton Metroparks at its 50th Annual Recognition Dinner, including Mike Muha of Team NordicSkiRacer.
$2,590 in proceeds from the Frosty Freestyle XC Ski Race were donated to Huron Meadows on Saturday, along with another $500 from the Washtenaw Ski Touring Club, part of the Groomer Appreciation Day festivities.
In the sixth year of operation, the Michigan Cup Committee voted unanimously to award a plaque of appreciation to the http://NordicSkiRacer.com website and it’s founder, owner and diligent and only worker, Mike Muha.
Even though it there was a small turnout, the 2010 Michigan Cup Sprints generated $270 in proceeds that were donated to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
Just what everyone has been looking for, the team scores as we get down to crunch time. This year is unique because we have a new scoring system that counts everyone’s race with no limit on individual races.
